DESCRIPTION

An architectural and design professional with almost 17 years of experience in the industry, Briana joined the IRES team in mid-2022 bringing with her diverse experiences in both in development projects, consultancy, and the government sector, to drive key corporate and strategic functions in and across the practice. She works collaboratively across the management team to align strategy and drive specific initiatives, focusing on the areas of research, innovation, sustainability, brand and communications.
Prior to joining IRES, she was instrumental in the master planning and design management of a large nature attraction development, co-driving the high-value design and construction tender for a visitor arrival, transport and infrastructure hub, associated amenities, and artwork and environmental graphics for the public spaces. Briana also had a significant role in the design of the first two phases of The Botanica, a highly successful township development in Malaysia and Canada, and a diverse range of residential and institutional design proposals. She gained early professional experience undertaking various public housing projects.
Briana is passionate about shaping the practice direction and strategy, anchoring the practice in environmentally sensitive and sustainable design and firmly believes that great architecture has the power to shape the community and impact lives
